About

Who We Are

NaturaGut is an independent editorial journal dedicated to the science, practice, and quiet art of gut health. We publish evidence-based articles, slow recipes, and honest product reviews for readers who believe that digestive wellness is not a problem to be solved overnight — but a practice to be tended, day by day.

Our Philosophy

The wellness industry is crowded with noise. Miracle cleanses. Thirty-day transformations. Supplements that promise everything and explain nothing.

We believe in a different approach: one grounded in peer-reviewed research, tested in our own kitchens, and written with the patience our subject demands. The gut — home to trillions of microorganisms, producer of most of the body's serotonin, guardian of the immune system — deserves better than marketing copy.

Evidence Over Hype

Every claim we publish is supported by peer-reviewed research or clearly marked as editorial opinion. We cite our sources. We distinguish between established science and emerging hypotheses. We are comfortable saying "we don't know yet."

Honesty in Commerce

Some of our revenue comes from affiliate partnerships with supplement brands and product makers. We disclose every such relationship plainly. We never accept payment for positive coverage. We review products we have personally tested for a minimum of three months.

Patience as Practice

We publish weekly, not daily. We believe that fewer, better articles serve our readers more faithfully than a constant stream of content optimized for algorithms rather than understanding.

Our Editorial Standards

Every article published on NaturaGut undergoes the following process: research from peer-reviewed journals and established medical institutions; drafting with attention to accuracy, clarity, and readability; fact-checking against primary sources; and a final editorial review for tone, ensuring we never make claims that exceed the evidence.

We are not doctors. We do not diagnose, treat, or prescribe. When our research touches on medical territory, we urge our readers to consult qualified healthcare professionals who know their individual circumstances.
